The Theme for March’s Podcasts is The Modern Titus 2 Woman. Titus 2 encourages “older” women to “urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”

In week 2 of this series we chat with Alexandra Kuykendall. Alex is a wife, a mom, and an author.  She speaks to women around the world about issues of parenting, faith and identity.

The conversation in this episode centers on lessons Alex has learned about what to look for in a mentor and how to effectively mentor others. We discuss the process she uses to determine what to let go of and what to hold on to and why letting go of good things can be such a big relief. She shares examples from her own life of what mentoring “looks like” and reassures us that it doesn’t need to be formal and complicated to be impactful.
