The Theme for March’s Podcasts is The Modern Titus 2 Woman. Titus 2 encourages “older” women to “urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”
In the first of this series we chat with Dena Patton. Dena Patton is a wife, a mom and an entrepreneur. She splits her time between her coaching company and her nonprofit company for girls. She is a speaker, an author and a business coach who helps people create GREAT businesses and become GREAT leaders. She also creates charity projects and ministry programs that change the world.
The conversation in this episode centers on Dena’s vision for mentorship through the Girls Rule Foundation. Dena shares the story of how her nonprofit, Girls Rule Foundation, empowerment and leadership programs for girls ages 12-18, began. We talk about the value of mentorship in her life and how she now mentors other women and girls. She’ll share some insight for being more intentional in your mentoring and how creating a “new relationship” with power changed her life.
